Family Fitness of Sparta

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Management is anything but professional and they are just money hungr .

Stay away from Family Fitness all together. They will lure you in with a promotion they do not honor, only to have you sign a contract with ridiculous limitations. I am at the end of my contract and upon cancelling to make sure I was not auto renewed I was told it wasn't within the 60 day time period so I am being charged for another month. I would have no problem accepting that if I wasn't told directly by the manager at the Sparta location that I had until August to cancel. They play the "Corporate office"/policy game when you contact anyone at the "corporate office" which is an email address. I was told by "corporate office" that since I have no email trail of the conversation and had only spoken to someone on the phone at the Sparta location I am wrong they are right and that's it. They treated me with the philosophy of "Thanks for your money, we don't care about you." The contract you sign with them gives them way too much power to do whatever they want to you and your bank account. If only I knew I needed to record my telephone conversation for it to be valid, silly me. I'd rather lift tires in my yard then ever be bound to this company in any way, EVER.

Great atomosphere...friendly staff
