Angel Animal Hospital Of Southgate

We have been going to Angel Animal Hospital for years. My cat and dog have always been treated promptly and the office staff is always professional and kind. I switched from another Downriver vet that over charged. Love it and will continue to go back!

Bottom line, I believe Dr. Singh/Angel Animal hospital carelessly administered medicine to my dog, that she'd never had before...Famotidine!!!! The results, it killed my little 10-year old girl, a sweetie. I called back to say that my dog wasn't drinking water, seemed extremely lethargic and her eyes became glazed over AFTER the shot......the reply: "The doctor isn't concerned about her eyes, bring her back IF you WANT or if she doesn't drink water within an hour"...No information was provided to me, that dogs have DIED from Famotadine!!!!! AND he's the professional???? So when she drank a little within 30 mins,assumption, I guess she'll be ok....She died less than 5 hours later lying on the sofa next to me...SLEEPING under the influence of Famotadine!!! Careless administration!

I hate Angel Animal hospital and the callous way they displayed a cavalier attitude towards my loss! I tell everyone how much I hate Angel Animal Killers

We took our dog to Angel place because it was a Sunday morning. The vet checked our dog eye and said it was pink eye gave him some eye drops. During the week his eye got a little better then the following Sunday woke up and his eye was much worst so back to Angel where he wash the eye out and gave a different eye drop. The vet stated that if this continue we would have to see about cutting his hair around his eyes. Sound like it wasn't serious we took him home put the new drops in and watched him. He was not acting his self then late evening after we went out for awhile he went to put more drops in his eye and his eye was bleeding. Rush him to a Emergency vet in Novi and was told they needed to remove his eye that he had a hole in it. We feel this vet should have ran test or something to see what it was other than say its pink eye. Due to the lack of concern our dog lost an eye.
