Went in there for an annual physical with Dr Sojourner. Normally annual physical should be completely free if you have an insurance and the Dr can code it right as preventative. But I end up with more than $900 in debt all because Dr submit my mammogram order as medical.



The mammogram order were give out during the annual physical and it is should be just a regular routine check. I told her I haven't had mammogram for couple years and Dr didn't inform me that this should be anything different other than a regular routine check. Then why does Dr code it as Medical not preventative? Because of the wrong coding my insurance won't pay the mammogram bill and I end of with the bill.



Call the Dr. office multiple time, after 2 weeks finally someone answer the phone said it should code as preventative and will resubmit the order. More than a month go by after that, nothing were resubmit to the insurance, so I went down to the office, the front desk only give me a phone number to call. I call the Dr. assistance multiple times, still no one call me back.



I will continue fight for this and go public to warn people about this place.



No matter how good the Dr is, if they can bill right, no one will come back.

Dr Sojourner is an excellent doctor. She takes excellent care of me and is very nice and understanding. She is super intellligent and goes out of her way to make sure that I am in good health and checks for everything to make sure that I stay that way.

I would recommend her to everyone.
