I am 60 years old ...... and don't mind being carded or asked, but at Olive Garden they want to take your ID to 'the back' to scan !!! Never encountered this ... I will not give my ID (and later my credit card) to be scanned for buying a beer !! Who knows what's going on 'in the back'? Too much fraud going on in this world... My wife and I stood up and left and went to the restaurant next door .... No problems there ... Watch out, this may be a scan scam !!
This is by far my favorite restaurant by far, if you're an Italian food lover like me! Just be sure to NOT sit near the bar because it's way to noisy! Ask for a booth. If you're not sure what to have, go with the "Tour of Italy"! It's a little pricey, but worth every dime!
Went here with my family a few days ago to celebrate my Husbands birthday. The food was superb and I really enjoyed the wait staff. Our waiter was very engaging and recommended some wonderful dishes. My children and husband enjoyed the new small desserts especially. Way to go Olive Garden!
I suppose if one has never been to a REAL Italian restaurant, this place will suffice. Too often the food tastes "pre-fab" - like it was made in a Olive Garden factory somewhere, frozen, then microwaved before being served. I'm never impressed by the food served by this chain of Italian eateries. The only thing saving this place from getting a single star rating from me is their wine list...
Everytime i go to Charelston wether it be with my boyfriend, friends, or family I always have to eat here! This is my opinion of the best resteraunt in Charelston! It is always clean and pretty and the food always tastes amazing and in the 29 times ive been to this resteraunt they have never let me down in the way the food tastes! Everytime i go i order something differentand i know all their dishes are great! They always seem to seat you in a reasonable amount of time and most of the time there is no wait. Th longest ive waited is 30 mins. but it was worth it because you cant get any better than that!!!
I love this place! The food is good and the service is exceptional. I'll go back again!
This is a fantastic place to eat the service is fantastic the food is wonderful the resturant is kept very clean, I wish, I could go more often.
