        Overall

        Don't go there. The problem with this company is they are out to screw you by NOT PROVIDING an estimated quote of the work to be done. I mean labor and parts. If you get used to that kind of treatment like many businesses in VT, you give up knowing what you are paying for. Any business like J &P that tries to say they don't provide quotes is DISHONEST in my book and I will never shop there. In fact, if anyone else reading this wants my business, quote me a price first and I'll come paying at YOUR door. The owner "JIM" was reluctant to be HONEST or to give me a quote after I only asked him to say what his charges would be for an hour or half an hour's work. I know he cannot predict how long but he was reluctant to even state that replacing a motor for a heater in my home was something "NO ONE WOULD GIVE ME!' Sorry Jim, you are wrong...that NO ONE is going to get the job you gave up and he will get the money. Have a good day - and get HONEST!
