Great builder, keeps his word, pleasant person to deal with. Tore down our 30 years old rotting deck and designed and built a new redwood deck. All on time and on budget. Would not hesitate to call Steve for my new project any time.

Wow, I am not usually one who submits reviews online, but after my experience with Steve, owner/operator of Symonds Building Repairs and Improvements, I felt compelled to let the community know what a thorough and professional job he does. My wife and I had our aging decks and stairs professionally power washed, sealed, and stained by Steve. Steve submitted a very reasonable bid and followed through on everything as advertised. He went above and beyond with answering questions, providing professional feedback, and completed the work in short order. No to mention the man is an artist, seriously, you should see how awesome my decks and stairs look after Steve went to town! After having so many bad experiences with contractors not completing work on time or as advertised, Steve is a breath of fresh air. Trust me, give him a try and you won't be disappointed in the results. The man does first class work, is extremely friendly, and very prompt. After my experience with Symonds Building Repairs and Improvements, I won't call anybody else for future home improvements or repairs.
