If I could give a 0 for professionalism I would. I showed up for my appointment and got a nasty attitude from the receptionist who claimed they had called to cancel my appointment. I had never received a call and you would think if they hadn't gotten in touch they would have tried again. I took the day off just to get an attitude for something they screwed up. I will never go back !

This is hands down the best dental office on Long Island. I have never been to a professional office where everyone is relaxed and it is obvious that the staff actually enjoys working there. They really are a dental team.

I don't normally write reviews on anything, but the service I received here from one girl in particular really deserved it. I arrived with my daughter, who was to get a filling, and since it was her first time she was full of questions and fear. She was more afraid after she found out that she would have to go in for the filling by herself, but one of the PAs, Mylady was very respectful about telling me to wait in the waiting room. More importantly, my daughter told me later that Mylady helped her feel at ease during the procedure. She was also running back and forth to answer my questions, and she was very knowledgeable about what was happening in the procedure room. I would highly recommend!

I have been a patient of A & B Dental for over 15 years. I trust them. They have very little staff turnover, especially at the front desk, so it is nice to come to a place where everyone knows my name. My children, started there and now bring their children. I hope they never retire.

When I walked into A & B Dental for the first time and saw the crowded waiting room, I thought, “uh oh”. But I was taken in on time. Dr. Markowitz was first to see me and spent time talking to me and explaining to me everything I needed. Their modern x-ray avoids having to put those sharp old x-rays in your mouth, which I hated. After figuring out what I needed, the front desk staff explained how my insurance worked and said they would work hard for me to get the most from my benefits. I did have to pay some money out of pocket, but it was explained to me in full with no surprises. I will be back

The offices of A & B Dental has restored my faith in the dental profession. I woke up with a raging tooth ache. I called at 9 am and was given an appointment for 12 and was told I would be the doctor’s first patient of the day. I was seen by the doctor at exactly 12:01. Unfortunately, they could not save my tooth, however, I was given many options for replacement and I chose an implant. Dr. Tom looked at it and said ok, let’s do it. After talking to the financial secretary, who was a doll, I had my tooth extracted and my implant put in. No pain. I can’t wait for my cap. I have a cleaning appointment next week and I am actually looking forward to it.

When Dr. Markowitz told me that having an implant placed was not going to be painful, I figured he was full of it. But last week I had two done and was able to go out to eat the next night. And he told me that was the hard part. Love these guys.

Six months ago, I was treated for sleep apnea by Dr. Singh. He made me an oral device that has changed my life. My wife is very happy. No more snoring.

What a great place. So modern. Friendly staff. Immaculate and the doctors were funny and gentle. No need to ever go anywhere else.

I had issues with my insurance coverage. Carol and the women at the front desk were on the phone for over an hour trying to help me get everything straightened out. When it was finally resolved, I said is it too late for me to be seen and they said no, they would make sure I was seen. Even though it was an hour past my appointment, I was still able to get my work done. Wish all medical offices had staff like that.

I just had three implants placed by Dr. “Tom”. It was totally painless. He relaxed me by telling me jokes and the procedure sped by. No pain after. I highly recommend A & B Dental for all your dental needs.

My husband just had 3 implants done by Dr. Tom at A & B Dental. The two of them connected with both of them having an offbeat sense of humor. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, both front desk and in the back. I used to work in a dental office many years ago, and wished it was like A & B Dental. I could not be happier.

A & B Dental is not the place of dental nightmares. They are totally up to date technologically. I just love the x-ray machine where nothing goes in your mouth. I always hated when they took x-rays before, but now I don’t mind them. I had a broken tooth and they got me in that day. I needed the tooth pulled and they did it painlessly. Dentist and pain. They go together, at least for me it did. But after my visit to Dr. Markowitz and A & B dental, they are no longer one thing. I needed a root canal. Dr. Markowitz saw me first and told me that he would try to get me done that day. He changed some patients around and I saw Dr. Feuer. He did my root canal and I didn’t feel anything. Any dentist who can do a root canal without pain has me for a patient forever.

Like most people, I have has some terrible experiences at the dentist. And of course, this made me stay away even more. I woke up in severe pain. Called A & B Dental at 9 am and was in the chair at 12. The staff made my registration so simple. Within minutes, Dr. Markowitz was talking to me like he knew me my whole life. Said he wasn’t there to judge, just to help. I needed an extraction and an implant. The thought of having something screwed into my bone scared me, but it was done so fast and the next day I had absolutely no pain. Went out to eat that night! I need two more implants and A & B is the only place to go!!!

I hate the dentist, but I have been going to Dr. Markowitz and A & B Dental since 2009. I needed so much work, my mouth was a mess. Dr. Markowitz spent time with me, talking to me and not berating me for my obvious neglect. He said we can do this over time, we didn’t have to do it all at once, so we can keep the costs down. The office staff helped me with my insurance and helped me with financing. I now look forward to my visits. They are actually fun. Love this place.

Really nice people, and they make sure you're comfortable and informed about what is going on and what they're about to do. No surprises; great for a nervous patient like myself. I have been there several times I can only barely tell you what the waiting area looks like as they seem to start everything more or less exactly on time. They're efficient, the place is modern, it's clean ... sure it's not a trip to Six Flags, but it's the best dental office I've ever been to.

This place is not your average dentist. However, as soon as I got to Dr. Markowitz, I was distracted with the awesome technology and his brief life story, nonetheless, he asked me what I wanted to do today for the visit. I was a little shocked. Usually, dentists ask you to open up, do their invasive thing by looking and poking around in your mouth, then pronounce a verdict. Not here. They treated me like a human being! I was soooooo excited! .

Fantastic overall experience, from the front desk, billing & insurance, reminders, to the dental hygienists and doctors. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable. It's a great place for both me and my teens who need a little extra care at the dentist.

We are very satisfied with orthodontics service at A & B Dental. I have my Over Denture Inferior with 4 Implants done 3 years ago and I am happy with it. The denture cracked once, after first year, but it was fixed on timely basis.

My wife did the same year ago, she was very sensitive on dental issues but now she seems forgot about dental problems.

The orthodontics surgeon was Dr. Thomas Riutta, We highly recommend him.
