General Info: Sheridan Elementary School offers academic instruction for students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s core curriculum includes math, language arts, science and social studies. It provides classes in computer technology, art, music and physical education. Sheridan Elementary School offers Title I, English as a Second Language, and gifted and talented programs. The school provides assistance with the development of emotional, social and intellectual skills in students. It offers special education services for students with developmental disabilities. Elementary School s library stocks a range of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, and fiction and nonfiction books. In addition, the school provides a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, and track and field. It is governed by Community Unit School District 2.
