        The Senior Center at Council on Aging of Cleveland County offers a variety of services and conducts enrichment activities for senior citizens of Cleveland County, N.C. It maintains a Cafeteria, Library, gift shop, Computer laboratory, game room and walking trails. The center organizes several recreational, educational awareness, dance, music, safety, crime prevention, nutrition, physical fitness and health screening programs. The Senior Center at Council on Aging of Cleveland County also conducts group activities, excursions, field trips and arts and crafts shows. In addition, it provides wellness, risk reduction, disease prevention and health promotion services. More than 2,000 individuals participate in its programs and activities. Council on Aging of Cleveland County is a human service organization that focuses on the independent lifestyle of senior citizens. Its housing program includes apartments, affordable housing and other residence options for seniors up to age of 55 and above. The organization s nutrition program serves over 3,000 older adults with nearly 50,000 meals annually. Council on Aging of Cleveland County is located in Shelby, N.C.

        If only zero stars were an option...
        I decided to have my wedding reception here, and let me just say that I wish I could go back in time and NOT!
        The Rental Coordinator, Linda Jeter, decided TEN DAYS before my wedding that she couldn't be there to let me decorate the day before like she had been telling me I could for the past few months... and told me it would be fine because I could come decorate for 2.5 hours TWO days before and just do the rest on THE DAY OF! This is after we had been told by her and were planning months in advance (people taking off work, deliveries, etc.) to decorate for FIVE hours the day before the wedding.
        When confronted about the situation, she denied that she ever said she would let us come for 5 hours the day before, and loudly told me to "CALM DOWN" on the phone. She, and their Administrative Assistant Teresa have been extremely disrespectful to me, have been belittling, condescending, and have contradicted themselves in multiple RECORDED emails, phone calls, voice mails, and text messages. And $2,000 of certificates and cash have gone into renting this place for a 4 hour event.
        These people made my life HELL for the last ten days leading up to my WEDDING!
        I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you find somewhere else, like the AWESOME Don Gibson Theater (wish I would have had it there), to host your event
