Boyds Creek Church of God

The land where the church is was part of a plantation with the main house at the end of Cedar springs Valley Road. The land was deeded to the family of former slaves in 1946, where they agreed to construct a church for the community. The Paynes Temple School is located next to the land and this is where they originally started having church services. God has provided such a beautiful place, with beautiful people, that have a beautiful story, and TESTIMONY ! Though through the years the family divided there is still some of the former slave's descendants on the Board of Directors making sure the forefathers are remembered and their dream still remains (to have a place of worship for the community). We are all part of the family, the family of God, purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. Come Join Us!
