5 Star Automotive and Repair

I "had" to stop there to service my vehicle, and the place is a dump. The people were overly dirty, and unprofessional when dealing with them. The work was decent at best, but a far cry from the "Five Star" in the business name. The cost of their work is cheap, but expect the same cheap quality. I dealt with the Owner/Manager Ray, and was not impressed. Just another greasy country bumpkin that thinks he is a fast talker, but closer to a dishonest crook. He wouldn't even come down off the price after showing him the "quality" of service and the fresh new scratches on my vehicle. No compensation at all. That guy Ray is as disrespectful as it gets.

Do yourself a favor and look for another automotive place. Other places are not as trashy, and you will respect yourself more for looking elsewhere. There are other places that will treat you right locally.

They are thieves and have opened up a new shop called Mafia Motors. They sent two people to do business with me,( Which I cannot disclose), but I can say that they "worked" for him and he confirmed they did. They ran on me and now Ray Lavallee does not answer his phone.

Nothing good about this place. Last few times I was here he wanted me to pay cash, which is a red flag in itself. About 3 months ago he put an alternator on my van, insisting I pay cash. Over $400. Now I discover he put a used alternator on my van, it is bad again. Bill he gave me has no business name on it, now out of business, he signed the bill but cannot read the signature. Canceled his phone service, first name is ray. If you have any idea where he is in business again, stay away. Very dishonest.

We have been getting exceptional service here for years. The physical appearance of the business is what it is--a very busy auto repair shop. If you're looking for the look of a car dealership, go to a dealer (and pay dealer prices). If you want reliable auto repair at reasonable prices, go to 5 Star Auto. Ray has always been respectful, responsive, and busy. You may not be treated like a delicate flower, but your vehicle will be repaired.
