Oasis installed a liner for us...

Oasis installed a liner for us that repeatedly kept coming loose. They wouldn't admit to it being an incorrectly measured liner. We went to the Better Business Bureau and they went through arbitration with us. We won and they were told to refund us for the incorrectly measured liner within 30 days. They didn't. We then went to the Oconee County Magistrate. The judge upheld the BBB's decision and they were again ordered to pay our refund for the liner within 30 days. They didn't. We now have a judgement against them and Oasis. What's it going to take to get our refund????? The BBB has rejected them from their company and given them an 'F' rating. There looks to be more complaints about them on the BBB's website also. Please...do not use this company. We made a mistake doing it and don't want anyone else to have to go through what we've been through!

We at Oasis Pools Inc. strive to make every customer happy. You as a customer are very important to us. Mr stewart we understand your displeasure and have made several request with the BBB to be allowed to remeasure your pool to check the measurements and compare to the originals we have on file. For some odd reason they refuse. We are confused as to why they never ask for the original measurements for comparison, but somehow came to the conclusion that the liner was mismeasured. We are very frustrated with the BBB and have withdrawn our company from their services and their responce is to give us a f rating . Our customers and community have voted us #1 three years in a row. Mr stewart we also would like to change your mind about us. We just ask the opertunity to remeasure your pool and compare to our original measurements. If we find we made a mistake we will refund your money on the spot. We question why the BBB didnt allow this to start with, which would have saved us all alot of trouble.

Had to arbitrate with BBB and Oasis lost. Were told to recomp us our money. They didn't. Took it to Oconee magistrate. We won and they were ordered to pay us back again. They didn't. We now have a judgement against them and Oasis Pools. BBB has given them an F rating.

We had more than a few issues with the install of our pool. We have a nice pool as the end result, but getting to this point was painful, and an unpleasant experience.

Horrible Customer Service

We used Oasis Pools and it was the most frustrating experience. I recommend if you are looking for a new pool to use another company. Listed are some of the problems we had with this company.



They hired someone to remove our old concrete and he ended up damaging the frame of the pool and our slide (which we planned on keeping). When Caroline came to check out the work, she acted as if everything was OK. We waited 2 weeks before they ever came back to work after this incident. I believe they were disputing the situation with the contractor, but we had to wait which set us back.



They originally gave us a quote and a couple weeks later (after the concrete man had been there) it jumped $5k. I asked Caroline why this wasn't caught at the beginning. Her response was, “I don't know". This response frustrated me. I felt we deserved a better answer to this question. I also believe the concrete man may have been the reason we were charged the additional amount but we had no way to prove it.



She repeatedly tried to get us to pay for a new slide even though their concrete man broke our old one. She kept trying to tell us we didn't really want it, but we did. Her husband told us they would replace the slide and she still tried to get is to purchase it. We refused to pay for something we didn't break.



Caroline told us on numerous occasions they would be at the house to work and they would never show up. I would call and ask why they weren't there and her answer again was, "I don't know". This answer became a common answer she would give us.



We had to call her often since they weren't there most of the time. She started not answering our phone calls. We had to block our number or call from different numbers just to get her to answer calls.



The entire project was supposed to be finished the week of 7/27. They finally ended up finishing the week of 9/7. Caroline did not feel any sense of urgency to meet the deadline she had promised us. She did say they wouldn't be able to make the deadline if the weather was bad but the weather was great; we only had a couple rainy days.



The most frustrating thing Caroline did was...I called her furious toward the end. I couldn't believe the way she was treating us. She proceeded to tell me that we weren't spending half of what most people spent on pools and that she didn't understand why I was so upset. We were spending almost 20k. Pretty much she was saying,” We weren't spending as much money as her other customers. Because of this, we weren't a priority to her. After this, I didn't speak to her. I couldn't believe she even had the nerve to tell one of her customers this.



I feel we were treated this way because we are a young couple and she felt she could get away with it. Yes, we have a nice pool but it took a lot of tears and frustration to get it. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to Oasis Pools.
