As a Rescuer, I've worked with a lot of shelters, this by far is the BEST ever. The staff is very friendly and work so hard to ensure all find a home. Clean with healthy pets needing homes. We adopted our most recent puppy from them & he is now a member of our family. Highly recommend!

Last spring I went to the shelter looking for the perfect dog to round out our dog family. I was assured that they had the perfect one. THEY WERE RIGHT! We brought home a retriever/shepherd mix and she is absolutely wonderful. She got along very well with the other 3 dogs and cat, and what a wonderful companion. Very smart and loving..just as advertised. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. The shelter was clean and the animals were very well cared for. I recommend that you visit this shelter when looking for an animal to adopt.

I went up there to get a dog about six months ago. I ended up getting two do because our family couldn't choose one over the other, we loved them both the same. As we got to the desk to make these dogs part of our family we were told, "The adoption fee is $35 per animal." We still got the dogs. We put on the adoption papers why we would bring a dog back, it stated that we would bring them back if they were aggressive. We were assured that they get along with cats, each other, and humans. One of them started attacking the other two weeks later. We called up there and the shelter said they would not take the dog back and give us another dog in replace and they would not give our money back because it was a DONATION. Well nice to know that before you go in they make it a FEE (so you have to pay it) and once you pay they make it a DONATION ( so they don't have to give it back). The dogs have since them been killing every cat in the area, and almost caused a horse to throw a girl that was riding it. It will coast us forty dollars to take the dogs that we were lied to about back to the shelter to keep them from getting killed by owners of other animals.

I took my granddaughter to visit the animal shelter as she is an avid pet lover. We found the shelter very nice and the pets clean and well cared for. We looked at all the animals and she played with the kittens. I was very impressed.
