Stage House Tavern

Came in with a couple of buddies. Heard good things about this place. Man was i misled. We sat in the tavern section but we're all big eaters. Right off the bat we could tell we were in for a rocky meal. The server had no knowledge of the menu and even had to go find a manager when we asked him the simplest questions about menu items. I ordered shrimp. It was obviously frozen and refrozen several times. The ravioli were disgusting. I've had better out of a box. The 8 oz. filet is hardly 8 oz. and is grossly overpriced. Better value and quality at other restaurants in the area, but I won't name names. I didn't think you could screw up a cup of coffee, but my server managed to do it. Cold and burnt. I have no idea what possesses people to go there. Never again!

I have no idea why people hang out here. The patio is a joke and the bar is nice. . . . if you like drinking in a barn. The service is terrible and the prices are out of whack.

My wife and i dined there yesterday. It used to be our go to spot, a model of consistency. My how things have changed. One thing I can say, the past three times the food has been consistently bad. The only thing that rivals the terrible taste of the food is the terrible attitude of the wait staff. There is a palpable feeling of indifference. We will not waste our time at this establishment any more.

Tried the filet mignon salad special. Filet mignon tasted like bacon. Must have been a cheap cut. Asked a fellow customer who agreed. Very dissatisfied.

Can you say overpriced and dingy? Wait staff is totally clueless and the service is horrendous. The quality of the dish is poor to be kind. I most definitely recommend staying away.

TERRIBLE! place was empty so we sat right away. took 15 mins for a server to come over. another 15 for the drinks to arive. The place was filthy. Server had no clue about the menu. half of the apps came out with the entrees, the other after the entrees arrived. no clue what they're doing. pricey and tasted like food came out of a box
