Established in 1967, Scherwood golf is one of the most popular courses in Northwest Indiana. Based in Schererville, Ind., it occupies 165 acres. The 27 hole facility consists of an 18 hole par 71 and 6900 yard regulation course, as well as a 9 hole par 30 and 1600 yard executive course. Scherwood Golf offer two practice greens, sand bunker area and two all grass driving range tee areas, which accommodate up to 30 players. The golf course view banquet room can accommodate up to 200 people for a family style dinner, plate luncheon, or buffet. It also operates a full-service bar. Scherwood Golf provides a proshop stocked with brand name equipment. The golf course carries one of the best driving range and golf practice facility in Chicagoland's Northwest Indiana and Lake County area.
