Simple Relief Wellness Center

Let me start of by saying that I’m not the type to usually write reviews, but I feel I owe it to Dr. Joseph Balen at Simple Relief Wellness in Sarasota, FL. The whole experience has been a relieving and peaceful one that has given me more energy on a daily basis.

I was recommended there by fellow colleagues from New College of Florida. I was impressed that each visit comes with hydrotherapy that gives a phenomenal full body massage. They also offer hands on massages for discounted prices. Then, there is a sub-dermal laser machine that goes through many layers to help repair and keep things in place. Lastly, Dr. Balen does an adjustment that is fined tuned for each individual.

They do a great job at explaining the whole process as it goes. The first visit does take a little longer, but it’s because they are so thorough. I was very pleased with how much my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield covered, and he works with me for payment options. I would and do recommend this to everyone for maintenance or for serious issues. I’ve already noticed consistent improvement from the sciatica, lower back pain, and neck pain that I experience.

To be honest other than the healing aspect, and the great conversations I have with people there, Dr. Balen’s personality is what really make the practice stand out. He is always so kind and generous. I felt like I could trust him from the moment we met, which is needed for a good adjustment session where your body has to remain limp.

He is the kind of guy who finds things in common with everyone, and makes you feel like family. I found out that he had the same tattoo artist, Dimas, as me at Oddity downtown. Also, I enjoy his answers to the questions I ask about different famous encounters since he works with celebrities and on tour.

Dr. Joseph Balen and his staff are very professional and genuinely care about each individual patients needs. He works well with local Physicians and also treats Auto Accident patients. He evaluates each patient and sets a plan of treatment and truelly wants to improve each patients quality of life. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences in his office. He offers many levels of treatments and keeps each individuals well being in mind. I'm sure there is not a patient of his that would disagree.
