By far the best place for trees and plants in SCV. Great service

We found this place in error. Made a wrong turn and are we glad did! Outstanding selection and prices way below the competition. A man named Kenny helped us. So very nice (it was a hot day) he gave us cold bottles of water and gave us the tour. We came back the following weekend and we were surpised he remembered our names and even noticed I had a new hair cut. My husband didnt even notice LOL. Anyway we made a rather large purchase which was delivered as he said it would be. Outstanding place to shop.

Where to begin? Great pricing and selection!! Outstanding service (ask for Kenny)! Would you beleave he called the competition up the street to see if they had an item we asked about that they were sold out of. WOW! My hubby was knocked over by that. We got in the car to go to the store he called, but we looked at each other and said lets just hold off until Maclay has them in stock. Service like that needs to be rewarded by loyalty.

We are new to the area so we shopped around a bit checking out all the nursery's in SCV. We found prices were all over the place and selections varied also. What we did find was that service was lacking everywhere except for Maclay Nursery. We found a person there that LISTNED to us and understood the look we wanted to end up with. We produced phone pics of our yard to help things along, but after reviewing the photos he decided to come out to our home and see things in person. The next day he came to our home. We noticed he was wearing sandals so we asked how he could work in them. He said "oh I am off today and will be headed to the beach." He spent over an hour with us ON HIS DAY OFF! He made suggestions as to what plants to use and we made notes. He said think about things and if you have any questions call or stop by the nursery. The next week we went in to the nursery and purchsed our plants. Thank you Kenny for all your help!!!!!

Where to start? Great prices, top quality and wondeful selection. We were surprised they had such a huge tree selection. The prior reviewer nailed it on the head on the service. Ask for Kenny and you just cant go wrong. Last Saturday we went in and asked for Kenny. He was there but there were several other people waiting for him. We asked a person ahead of us why they were waiting for him and they said "after he helps you, you will understand." We waited and now we get it. Outstanding service. We look forward to our next visit there.

Very good values on trees and plants BUT the best reason to shop there is a fellow named "Kenny". He worked at another nursery up the street then relocated to this nursery. FIRST CLASS SERVICE, knows his stuff and is just wonderful to spend time with. We have turned on many people to this guy and EVERYONE thinks as we do...Call ahead of time to make sure he is in and you will be thrilled you found him!!!!
