Jason came over to fix my 100+ years old grandfather clock. He did an excellent job. He also checked 3 other wall clocks and make minor adjustments with "major" results. I was very happy. Thank you.

For over 20 years I have had my clocks serviced and have purchased clocks from both Jason and his father. I have been very pleased at the quality and competency of their service. They are amazing they have not only repaired but restored several of my clocks. Hard to find a business like this now days.

Today Jason came by to help us with setting up our grandfather clock after we had it moved. We had tried to do it ourselves (bad idea) since we ended up dropping one of the weights and breaking out the bottom. I had called earlier today to ask for someone to come by and he offered to come by the same evening.



He was on time, professional, helpful, and didn't charge too much. He laid the clock flat (and put it back upright after), put the bottom back in, and leveled and made sure that everything was put back together correctly. He didn't try to sell me a whole bunch of other services (in fact, I brought up the topic of when I should have a complete service). It was obvious that he knew exactly how to repair and service clocks and I felt completely comfortable.



I would definitely recommend calling this shop for service on other grandfather clocks, and will call them again for service on my clock.

Owner, Jason Lorist, has known the previous owner of Argo Clocks, Brian Argo. Since the Argo establishment went out of business, Jason has resumed all operations in his shop with the current location at Franklin Mall. I have a Ridgeway Grandfather Clock which was serviced by Argo Clocks in the past and the clock was maintained to the highest quality. About 8-10 years ago the clock stopped working and I was unable to service it on my own, recentlly I've called The Tick Tick Shop and with the home service, the interal clock assembly (leaving the outer cabinet) was removed, disassembled, cleaned, and then reassembled. Now the clock is functioning exceptionally well with many more years to come.
