        Established in 1918, Bordenave's is a wholesale bakery. Based in San Rafael, Calif., the bakery supplies fresh baked bread daily to many of the finest restaurants, delis and specialty grocery stores in the Bay Area. It offers a wide selection of breads that vary in style, taste, grain and texture. Bordenave's list of products includes kaiser roll, baguettes, steak, shorie, pizzas, hot dog, hamburger, focaccias, battard and ciabattas. In addition, it provides breadsticks, croissants, garlic bread, dinner rolls, petites and torpedos.

        Overall

        One of the all time great San Francisco Bay Area old school bread bakeries. I remember Larabarue, Parisienne, Colombo and Boudin, but Bordenave's was hands down my favorite all time bread bakery. The bread would come still warm to our local market. We could not go a day without that delicious bread. I am so glad the quality remains..

        Fresh Bread Heaven

        I've got to visit Bordenave's at least once a week. The bread is so fresh it's hard to drive by without stopping in. If you get some day old bread also, you can walk out with bags of great sourdough for under 5 bucks.
