Walgreens

The pharmacy staff is attentive, accurate and knowledgeable. They meet each guest 1:1. This isn't a drive through operation, so if you prefer your pharmacist cuts-corners because you don't like to do some of the due-diligence yourself, or if you value speed over accuracy so you can race to whatever it is that is more important (because you do not appreciate the fact that these medications exist enough to allow yourself to pause for a moment to reflect on how lucky you actually are), then you should go to a different store.

I've grown up with Walgreens.

When you mention 'drugstore' I think "Walgreens".

So when I found out I would be living close to a Walgreens I thought "Cool!"

Until I actually started doing buisness with the store on Divisadero.

I can certainly understand why the clerks would come out of the woodwork and tail me around the store.I am Black and any Blackman will tell you being tailed in a store goes with the territory ('nuff said!)

But I've been going to this store for five years now and my last time there was like my first time.

Now I only go in if I absolutly HAVE to.And then I look for alternitive(like can I do without until I can go somewhere else?

You think I'm kidding?Be a Blackman and go into that store!

I need to add that there are some really good folks that work there.

Most of the mature women that work there are friendly and will give you a smile faster than a dentist will give you a sucker.But that younger crew is off the hook!
