Established in 1971, the National University is a private and nonprofit institution of higher learning in California. It consists of five schools and one college, including the schools of business and management, education, engineering and technology, health and human services and media and communication. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate programs. Its academic courses include English, mathematics, sociology, psychology, history, chemistry and physics. The university also provides online education in more than 35 graduate and undergraduate degree programs and over 300 courses. It also provides various financial aids for the physically disabled students. Its library center provides the educational and research materials of the students and staff. It is located in La Jolla, Calif.
