I went in today to exchange a skirt that was too large, which given to me as a gift. The tags were still attached and I had the original receipt, but it was past the store's 10 day exchange policy by 6 days and they denied me an exchange (the policy is on the receipt and I didn't buy the skirt so there is no way I could have known). I explained that I have young kids and needed to wait until someone could babysit them so I could come alone and shop. I nicely asked the manager to make an acception, and would probably have spent even more money in the store, but she was curt and unapologetic and refused to work with me. She had the opportunity to make a repeat customer of me (I am a PB local) but instead I will just be telling everyone about how awful the manager of that store is. This would never have happened at a department store, places like this give local business a bad reputation.

Awful service. The girl was hovering over us while my sister was trying to look through the clothing. The sales girl kept pulling the same type of clothing that my sister kept saying she didn't like, and when my sister touched a dress and looked at it the sales girl got offended that my sister didn't like any of the clothes she pulled but looked at the "most boring" thing in the store. First of all the sales girl had bad taste and looked as if she needed a shower! Second, don't be rude and insulting to the clientele, nobody likes that. Horrible store full of horrible people. We opted to go to the mall and shop at BeBe instead. Rather give our money to people who at least pretend to be nice to us and will be more accommodating in the process. Doesn't even deserve one star....
