There is one person I dealt with in person and one person on the phone I just spoke with that could bring down this location but besides these two women (1 black 1 Hispanic) this is a great location. Things work, people are helpful (almost too helpful), friendly. The only issues I don't like dealing with are the fact that they bunch together booted up computers. What is wrong with a little walking around for the capable employees. I haven't seen anyone physically unable working there. This bothers me because sometimes I don't want ALL of my neighbors listening to my business if I need assistance. And the crowd there IS nosey, they look at your screen as if they are there with you. It's weird. The other thing that is utterly annoying is the bathroom situation. I used to live in Houston and the office near me was HORRIBLE in every aspect you can imagine from technical problems to how the humans behaved. That office had an awful manager and it showed. Therefore this office in San Antonio is a welcomed change.

Being unemployed is incredibly stressful & depressing, and dealing with State Bureacrats is generally the last thing people want to do. However, I've found the people at TWC on Walzem Road to be helpful, professional & courteous. They do a good job with the resources they have, and I appreciate the respect they show to those who pass thru.

Like any kind of govt. office in Texas, these people NEVER answer their phones and IF they call you back, you're lucky!

We are having trouble getting our company to pay us for all of the hours we work and many of us have sent in complaints, called etc. but these people actually told me that they HAVE to back "their" employers otherwise they will take their businesses elsewhere. They also told me that they are lazy and don't want to actually do their jobs!!! Their job is to help the taxpayers of this state! They do not work for the "state"...THEY WORK FOR US!
