Express Rent To Own

I have been a customer of express rent to own in san angelo, tx for three years and have never had a problem with any of the employees. Their merchandise is well worth the price, they work with you if you ever have a problem paying a week or two. You just have to answer the phone when they give you the courtesy call to remind you about your payment. I will recommend express to all my friends and family. People that bad mouth this bussiness must have been bad paying customers! I know this from experience because I used to work for AARON'S.

I started renting with Express about 1 1/2 years ago and never had a problem. Then it seemed like everyone in the store that worked there disappeared and were replaced with rude, nasty people. I went in back in February I believe to get a new washer and dryer. The ones I picked out in the store were brand new. Plastic and everything still on them. The ones they delivered were dented and scratched! My husband said that when they were putting them in one of the delivery guys had to get behind the dryer and when he went to get out he jumped and landed on the top of it which caused the dent we discovered after they left! When I called to see if the could come get them replace them with the new ones i picked out. Their manage had the audacity to accuse me and my husband of damaging the appliances and offered me a discounted rate. I told her I wanted my new ones and when they came out to switch them the men that delivered them were ugly and rude. They had the audacity to take pictures of the new ones when the got them in my house. Then just last week I called and told them I would be late on the payment but I would pay two weeks instead of one and asked for a pay off on one of my items and was quotes $23.21. When I went in to make my payments the pay off mysteriously doubled and they were rude when I mentioned that I was quoted $23.21 and the manager said there was no way I was quoted that when the payment was late. Then I asked for a corporate number to call and complain and she said was as high as I could go to complain. In doing a little research on the web I found the district manager and will be complaining to her and our local BBB! I DONT RECOMMEND EXPRESS RENT TO OWN TO ANYONE! THEY DESERVE A -10,000!

We have had a great experience with this company as a matter of fact, we are going back this summer for air conditioners. Staff was polite, delivery was on time and polite, and we had no issues with our 4 small dogs being in the house while they were there..

This company is a joke. We have been late like 4 times and they have always added ridiculous late charges to us. We were renting a used bedroom set and you could see where it was used from the scratches on the furniture and they were charging us brand new price for it. At the same were also renting a TV from them ,the remote went out on us and they wouldn't order us another remote nor would they help us program our TV remote. Two of the delivery guys came one day to take the furniture from us and they were talking in Spanish on my property about me and my home. I just don't think it is right to do that mainly when the CUSTOMER SPEAKS ONLY ENGLISH. One thing that really does bug me is that when we started to be on time with our payments we got behind once again and they sent us a theft of services letter out to us, stating our rental agreement with them has ended on a certain date and we never signed a form that said our rental agreement ran out with them on that day. Now we did sign a agreement stating that we have until we pay the items off.And anytime I have went in there to make a payment on the items the WOMEN were always rude with me, and laugh at me and, I could hear them talk bad about me behind my back when I went to leave the store.I have never ever been treated so badly in my life from a rental company. And nor have I ever heard of a rental company making you pay BRAND NEW PRICES FOR USED ITEMS....NOW I HAVE HEARD OF THEM HAVING YOU PAY OFF WHAT IS OWED ON THE ITEMS.When one of the guys came once before to take my items,he looked at my dogs and TOLD me to put them outside,he did NOT ask me nicely.No one TELLS me what to do!!! When they came to get my items they were looking all through my house at things that did not pretain to them. I have some personal items they were trying to look those!! I HONESTLY CAN SAY I DO HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I WORK FOR A COMPANY HERE IN SAN ANGELO WHERE A LOT OF PEOPLE WORK AND WERE A LOT OF YOUNG ADULTS WORK THAT ARE GETTING STARTED ON THEIR OWN. I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE WORD DOES GET AROUND ABOUT EXPRESS RENT TO OWN. I AM SO TIRED OF THEIR CRAPPY SERVICES THEY PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLIC. And when I went to call them to come get their items they said "its about time,we are tired of dealing with you"!! I mean how crappy is that?

And I agree with that lady about them harassing her 15 yr old daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This yellow pages makes me rate these people honestly they do NOT deserve one star! I think they don't even deserve a -10.

There is no way that I would recommend this store because the new manager is rude, accused my husband of being jailled to justify sending someone to our home and harrassing our 15 year old daughter when we were not home and then denied it. Neighbors saw and heard the incident and stated that this did happen. I will tell everyone I know about this and will never go back to this store. I do work with the public and the word will get around this small town.
