Modern Cleaners

In 4 years of living here, I don't think I have had a single experience with a business that was as horrible as the one I just had at SPUR WOODMAN DRY CLEANERS just outside the main gate. I called ahead and talked to the owner, asked him if they do one hour cleaning and he said it isn't 1 hour but it is often same day or next day at worst. He asked what I needed cleaned (2 suit coats $450 each and 1 Burberry dress ... So these are quality items). Anyhow- I get there and the owners son came (he seemed put out that I was bothering him). He then told me everything completely opposite of what his dad told me on the phone. All I said was "mmmm. Let me think. I have to decide if I want to leave this 1 item here because I may need it tomorrow." I thought about it a minute longer and said "I'm really unhappy about this because I called ahead". And yes- that Is an exact quote. I didn't get ugly because, to be honest- it wasn't that big of a deal. It's just dry cleaning and today, of all days, (Sept 11) I'm not going to get mad over just dry cleaning. Anyhow- the guy seriously snatched the ticket from me and said "I will make this easy for you. Take your stuff." Omg. My mouth literally fell open and I said "really???" As he walked away from me. I got in my car in tears because I've never been treated that way for so little.
