US Post Office

They have always been efficient and courteous over the many years I have used them. They are the only place in town where I can pay utilitis with no fee later than the typical cut-off time. Easily 5 stars.

The place should not me affiliated with the Post Office

Although I never been the type of person to send cards, I decided to send Mother's Day cards to a few special women in my life. I was behind the power curve, but at this point I felt better late than never.



I googled United States Postal Service because I was in an unfamiliar area and this location popped up as the closest facility. Online this location advertised business hours as 8:30-5:00. All my cards were prepared with the addresses and stamps and the only thing that I needed was to confirm that I didn't need to add additional postage due to size.



When I arrived to this location at 4:54 and walked through the doors, I was greeted by a lady who informed me that the store was closed. I looked at the clocked and informed the lady that it wasn't 5:00. At this time she told me that she didn't care what time it was and told me to get out off store. Confused by the outburst, I had to question the lady if she was affiliated with the post office and again she demanded for me to get out of the store.



Her aggressive and unprofessional behavior traumatized my son and 7 days later he is still upset and frighten by the situation.



No way should this business be associated with a government agency if she is allowed to behave and refuse service. This type of behavior should never be acceptable and there should be rules and regulation in placed to ensure that poor business are not associated with taxpayer dollars.

I have been to this post office 4 times now. It's right down the street from my house and I continue to make the mistake of waking in this place to stamp and mail my packages. The older woman who runs the place is the about rudest person I have come in contact with. She obviously doesn't know how to smile, but her attitude is awful. You can't ask her anything at all or else she will bark a nasty response back. Once she had a dog with her behind the counter and I tried to compliment the dog, since he was cute, and she snapped back "is that all?! NEXT!". She's the most miserable woman I have met. Fourth time was definitely the charm for me, I'll drive the extra miles to go to a post office with decent people behind the counter.
