Saint Paul Park & Recreation's Forestry Division is in charge for the maintenance of all city owned trees. It takes care of over 124,000 public property tress throughout the city. Based in St Paul, Minn., the city of St Paul's Forestry section deals with boulevard and park tree planting, maintenance, removal, trimming, wood recycling and education. Its tree plantation areas include boulevards, parkland, easements behind sidewalks, alleys, public streets and other municipal property. Its projects include trimming of trees on city-owned golf courses and trimming and removal of trees in city-owned natural areas. Its forestry staff maintains awareness in monitoring other diseases, insects and abiotic factors that affect trees in the city.
