Avatar Studios is a production studio in St. Louis, Mo. Avatar Studios offers film, digital beta and beta cam production equipment and on-location shooting facilities with a fully-equipped grip truck. The company also provides Chapman dollies, Mathews Tulip crane, the Jimmy Jib and Steadicam camera support options. Avatar also provides electronic news gathering and electronic field production equipment, HMI packages, Sure FP 33 mixers, Yamaha digital consols, Lectrosonics diversity wireless mics, boom mics, lav mics, digital audio tapes with time-code, smart-slate, telephone-hybrids and playback for music videos. Avatar also provides four Avid suites, three digital on-line rooms, the Editbox, 2D and 3D graphics and two sound design suites. The studio also offers three composite digital linear edit suites with D-3 digital recorders with pre-read and real-time functionality. Avatar has two audio editing and mixing rooms, a graphics department, fiber-optic and satellite transmission technology and provides interactive media development.
