St Clair Shores Oh Gyn

I am at St. Clair Shores resident and I had Been going to this practice for about two years now. Once I became pregnant and I was and I happy with the service that was provided by one of the doctors . I was told that if I didn't want to see one of the doctors that was through with the whole practice. The nurse staff can be very nasty at times and also unreliable. Communicating with the staff can be very frustrating, even after calling several times you still can't get a response. After deciding to leave the practice was giving him the runaround when he came to obtaining my records and test results. Don't waste your time there are plenty of other pleasant OB/GYN clinics out here.

I was 18 weeks pregnant and had an infection that my family doctor called about from hospital results and SCS never called to inform me. She refuses to see me when I have any pregnancy issues, when I call she says "go to the ER", which I've been 5 times, I can't continue to go to the ER... Also, the lack of communication is terrible! I would NOT recommend this office. To top this all off, when I was 8 weeks, at an ER visit I was told that I possibly had a cornual pregnancy which would have to be terminated, I was told to follow up with my OB the next day so she could review the ultrasound. I called the office all day long and left messages with everyone and had to go all weekend thinking I could be killed from a tube bursting or that my baby would have to be taken. The only reason I got through Monday was because I called and asked why I wasn't called back and raised my voice. That should have been my first sign. Not to mention... EVERY nurse and receptionist is extremely rude!!

If you make an appt to see a Dr chances are you probably won't, unless you wait 3-4 hours. The last 2 appointments I had they called to cancel on me. And then today I got there at 9:50am for my 10:10 appt and the doctor wasn't even there! He was at a hospital in Detroit. I wasn't even given the common courtesy of a phone call, and no other Dr could fit me in. I am beyond enraged and should have switched doctors months ago when he was unreliable. It's sad when you've been seeing the same Dr for over a decade and have to switch just because they are unreliable. I feel like the whole practice is just inconsiderate. Your time doesn't matter. I manage a restaurant and have a chaotic schedule, but I always show up for my appointments, maybe this practice should try to do the same.
