Bottom line, extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I have had to contact them three times since my class ended two months ago regarding items of mine they claim they don't have, such as my social security number. It is needed for the application and I brought it to them twice. I would not recommend Latoya's to anyone.

You are clearly from the class there is in session now.my question is to you now that you have a few weeks left why did you stay? N tell me why you don't use your real name on here, I know that there is no Chris b in the lpn program. Is th school at times disfunctional and unorganised yes. But my question is why are you still there? If it is so awful why set there in the back of the room still? Why didn't you go somewhere else?

If you want a REAL education, go somewhere else. This school is a total JOKE. The classes mean nothing to the school, it's all about the payments. If you fail any classes, it's alright. Make your payments and you'll make it to the very end. The NCLEX passing rate for this school is 52%. On lab days, you sit and talk, rarely will you learn anything useful. The owner of the school is also a teacher and shows up whenever she wants, if she even feels like getting out of bed that day. You will be waiting in class for 2 hours on her just to find out she isn't coming. As far as clinical. GOOD LUCK if you even get them. And if you do get to a clinical site, all you do is sit around and talk. Everyone in class complains because they haven't learned a thing the entire year we have been here. As far as your $15,000 you have to pay, you don't get anything out of it. They don't even give out the Wi-Fi password but yet they tell you to Google everything. If you want an easy way to become a nurse, this is your school. If you want a real education and actually learn something, go elsewhere. The instructor will go over the same powerpoint 5 times instead of teaching something new. Complete waste of time!!

Well i picked someone up from here, this place is literally smack dab in the hood of Saginaw Michigan. Looks like a scam, the owners can't afford a real building so they renovated a 100 year old bar. Classy Saginaw. Save your money and don't give to the crooks in the hood.

I am enrolled in the 1 year LPN program and am loving this school. It's only been one month but I feel like I have really learned a lot. Many quizzes and tests but they really want to see you succeed. Highly recommended

August 2013 I entered Latoya Health Education Center and paid in cash for a program. That same day, I was convinced by my family that due to the school being non accrediated, I should return to get my refund. Four hours later I did so. As of this writing I have not received my refund; it has been eight months. During the course of these past eight months the directors of Latoya Health Education Center have committed pergery in court by stating they have my refund and will mail it to me; they never did. The second court hearing the school refused to sign the notice to attend court, and did not show for the court date. The third court hearing Latoya's Health Education Center attempted to settle out of court with a payment plan; they never paid.

Not only have they lied to the public, they have committed pergery in the courts and have committed the felony of stealing $2600.00..

As it appears very easy for them to act in this manner, I strongly believe that other situations within the school and program my also be deceitful.

My sole purpose in writing this comment is to prevent anyone from chosing what appears to be a legitimate institution. The character of the persons who run the school have proven to be of bad character.

This student was giving a copy of the school's refund policy upon enrollment. However; the student didn't want to ably by that policy. But the student was still issued a full refund regardless of violation of our policy. Because Latoya's Health Education is committed the success of each and every student; whether they're in class, or in the community. Our pass rate for all of our programs for the state exams are above 97% (state wide and national). Latoya's offers top rated quality medical training at the most reasonable tuition prices around. Because the school was founded by the mother of Latoya Haynes the commitment to our students is sincere. In response to "save your money" you are saving your money by enrolling into Latoya's because you are receiving the best training for the most reasonable tuition cost. "Our commitment is truly to your success." "We are where future healthcare starts."

If it were possible I would rate a negative! The staff is highly unprofessional and not informed of business policy. After finding out some of the classes they offered were "non credited" I immediately withdrew from the class a week after registering. They proceeded to assure me that I would get my half deposit back in fourteen business days! Fourteen business days turned into weeks and now months!!! I've received only false information from not only the staff but the director.... Safe to say this establishment is clearly crooked, save your money and go some where worthy of your hard earned money AND time!
