Victoria's Beauty Salon

I was in desperate need of a pedicure & manicure so I left a message around 7a as I couldn't find the hours of operation anywhere online. Victoria returned my call promptly to inform me that the salon would be open at 8a.
When I walked through the doors of the salon ..I guess it felt like I walked through I time machine. There was a wooden coat rack near the door slightly off balance and a small rolling table which appeared to be the salons drying station.
Usually when I ask for a no-chip service I'm offered nail color swatches to pick from. Here I was given a bucket where I had to open every bottle to find out what the polish color was. The arm of the pedicure massage chair was hanging off and I sat in an office chair for my manicure.
Despite the esthetician answering the phone with scrub on her hands while using the other hand to continue providing the service ..it was actually a thorough pedicure and the massage was soothing as well.
There was no music and no one was talking. It was so quiet in fact, that I could here the foot steps of someone walking across the floor above the salon. I could hear the conversations of pedestrians walking past the salon. And most unpleasantly, the nail clippings of the woman having a pedicure beside me.
As previously stated, I enjoyed the massage and received a thorough service. If you can focus solely on the service and ignore the wood paneled walls and the sound of the massage chair beside you beating into your neighbors back then you may appreciate Victoria's lack luster salon.
