General Info: Classic Farms, established in 1983 as Lance Batistich Farms, is a producer and cultivator of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Its farms spread over an area of more than 2,500 acres. The company established Classic Salads, a food processing company to process spring mix and baby spinach throughout the year. It sells baby head lettuce, chicory, loose baby greens and heirloom tomatoes. Classic Salads also offers packaging and transportation services for arugula and organic spinach, as well as specialty salad items, such as basil, chives, mint, rosemary, tarragon, sorrel, thyme, Italian parsley and marjoram. Additionally, its spring mix includes red leaf, bulls blood beet, red chard, green romaine, tango, red romaine, tat soi, green chard, frisee and radicchio leaves.
