Their stock is amazing!!
I was hoping to find a bike shop that had the new Checkpoint in stock. When I got there they had 4 or 5 different builds of it. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Specifically worked w Brad but everyone was friendly and enthusiastic.
After placing order, they called 3 days later and said my bike was ready. Chris, bike fitter immmediately put on trainer and fitted bike to me. Spending hour and half w me. After riding two days, I brought bike back wanting some fit changes and tightening. Again Chris put on trainer and thoroughly listened to my issues and made changes for me. Adding “ if you don’t feel comfortable after riding please come in, I want you to be happy”.
Their stock is amazing , but their non pressure friendly educated staff is worth its weight in gold. I would highly recommend American to cycle and fitness😀

Just bought my first adult bike here. Very helpful they let me test drive a couple. No pressure. Very knowledgeable about which would be best for me. I'm super happy!

Terrible customer service. Extremely rude. And overpriced. I called to inquire about the prices of their exercise bikes because they didn't display them on their website. They said $1100 and up. I said it was out of my range. He laughed and hung up the phone. Nice work buddy.

Despite it carrying the best gear and bikes, the service is TERRIBLE. The first time I went into the store I was looking to buy a helmet and NO ONE offered to help me, even as I passed by the counters and looked around for a good 20 minutes. I then returned to have my bike serviced, telling them to repair anything that needed to be fixed as I had been riding my bike a lot recently and it hadn't been tuned up or looked at in a very long time. I also noted that the brakes were squeaking. I had to wait a week just to have the bike looked at and when I picked it up, the bike was still squeaking. Also, a week after having them "fix everything that needed to be fixed" my chain broke 5 miles from my house. I brought my bike to a different place where I found that the chain broke because it was so worn out. The repairman at the second shop couldn't believe that I had just had my bike serviced for regular maintenance the week before. I feel that they barely even looked at my bike at American Cycle, charged me, and sent me on my way with an unsafe bike. I will not be returning, nor will I be recommending American Cycle to anyone else.
