Big Jack's

Just order a Maxwell Street polish and it was the worst I have ever seen or had. The polish sausage seem to have been deep fried and burnt. Who does that? On top of that they did not even put any mustard. Big Jacks your quality has really taken a BIG drop backwards. In addition, your prices have also sky rocketed......... Not Good. On a bright side you still have the best fries!!!! Please look into the Maxwell I don't want to go elsewhere but might have too.

If you are in Lake County or just passing through, do yourself a favor and make it a point to go to Big Jack's on Hainesville Rd. We have tried many a hot dog and Italian Beef and Big Jack's is up there with the best of the best. The Italian Beef is perfectly sliced, nice and thin and tender, but piled high and is loaded with flavor. The peppers are a wonderful compliment whether you get hot or sweet. The Chicago dog is outstanding, perfect in every way and tends to be what I get each time we go there. Did I mention the homemade fries? They are absolutely delicious, both crisp on the outside, and tender and fluffy on the inside. We have our favorites, but there is not one thing that we have tried that has not been good from the Chili Dog to the Italian ice, there isn't a bad choice on the menu. The only thing I can't vouch for is the burger or the new take n bake pizza because we can't bring ourselves to try either yet since we love their beef's and dogs so much. We hope Big Jack's stays around for a looooong time! My only complaint is there really isn't anything on the menu that my little one's would eat, so we end up getting take out and making them something at home so it really isn't that big of a deal. The prices are average and the place is small, so there isn't a lot of room to sit down and eat, but again, not a big deal but something I thought I would mention.

All I can say is amazing and can't wait to go back. The beef is homemade and is exceptional- and the fresh cut fries are addicting to say the least. Topped off my meal with a hot dog (the best I have had) and an Italian Ice. I have no need to go anywhere else-plus the place is extremely clean (a big plus for me!) So glad it opened.
