My 1964 Mercury Comet is my baby.Other than myself and Castor's.No one turns a wrench on her.They are a great basic repair shop.

I have taken my car for service here and the work that was done was professional and at a fair price. I restore antique motorcylces and vehicles, and I am a mechanical engineer by trade, so I have a very good grasp of the scope of work that needs to be done and as to what parts are needed to do it. I work a lot and do not have the time to do the alignments, service repair, and other work to my car because I like to work on the restorations with any of my free time. I have had Castor's do all of the work and have not had a problem. I have moved back to chicago, and my son is attending University of Arkansas. I have him take his car here anytime it needs to be serviced, because I know that the work done will be quality and at a fair price.

In addition to other duties for my company I also manage our vehicle fleet. Any of the repair jobs we can't get knocked out at our facility, I send to Castor's Care Care to take care of for me. Brakes, bearings, alignments, engine repair. When I send a vehicle to them, I know it will be taken care of properly and I won't have to worry about it, letting me focus on the other aspects of my job. These people are great, honest, and friendly.

Castors promised me I would have a new AC once I purchased the 600 ac clutch instead of a 300- need less to say after said replacement the AC was worse. It was after the purchase and work I was informed my AC would work the way it use to- that is if there was a past problem, this was not explained to me by any means! Next was brake pads- replaced with the gold pads apx. price 40 instead of cheapos had I been asked what I wanted- I was told by the owner Jim he only uses Gold for all other pads create problems- uh duh not if installed correctly- gold pads on a 15year old car- REALLY! He put on a warpped roater- the old roater was turned nothing new about it. I also asked call before any work is done- the call was your car is ready. I picked up my car, and said you don't understand call first? He said happy Thanksgiving about four times as he was basically showing me the door with his eyes and attitude! Strongly suggest not using this company unless you like being ripped off and rude to. They are not BBB certified! oh, and I was told I was the one and only complaint.

First of all they offer great prices on their services. I took my truck to them for an alignment and even though they were unable to align the tires (due to wear and tear on my truck) they were able to give me a quote on what it would take to have it repaired. Unlike most other dealerships that will tell you about it only, they took me to my truck while it was on the lift and physically showed me what the problems were. I myself am a mechanic for contruction equipment and woulod recommend this place to anyone i know.
