        BIG disappointment!!! New owners

        New owners! Beware, Beware!! I have Loved Beardens for over 50 years. I went to the NEW Beardens and was so disappointed. The soda pop is "Lemon Up" cheap brands,($2.25) for not even brand name pop. The fries were under cooked raw. The burger over priced and you have to pay extra for lettuce, extra for tomato, etc. Service horrible, didn't even ask how the meal was...salad pre- made and cheap tasting. Train not working for the kids. Overall a real disappointment for being brand new. I'm so sad to see the original owners go! We won't be going back to the NEW Bearden's in Rocky River.

        So sorry you were disappointed in your visit to the newly refurbished Beardens. While we have some new partners, the family that has owned Beardens since 1948 are still involved in our daily operation. As with any major renovation and training of an entirely new staff, there are bound to be kinks to work out in the first week of re-opening when your visit took place. We are truly glad to be back as part of the Rocky River community and are doing our best to create positive new memories for past and future Beardens fans!
