Surgery and anesthesia can be a stressful time for owners, our staff is here to provide a transparent and caring experience for both client and patients. Michael was born in Rocky Mount and attended Auburn University. There, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science in 2006 and a Masters of Agriculture in 2008. He graduated from St. George’s University in 2012, where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation Michael, externed with an integrative practice where he was exposed to acupuncture and herbal therapy. Following his externship, Michael worked at a high volume spay and neuter shelter for 5 months prior to moving to Johnson City, Tennessee. In Johnson City, Michael worked at a small animal practice rotating between multiple clinics and doing both general practice and overnight emergency rotations. After almost 3 years in Johnson CIty, Michael moved home to transition the business with his dad.

Laboratory Services
Our animal clinic recommends having your pet examined at least once a year. A wellness exam allows us to assess health externally however there are diseases that can only be identified through diagnostic blood work. Yearly preventative visits allow us to catch diseases early in order to implement preventative therapies to prolong your pets quality of life.
