        The Shores Country Club once rated in the top 50 golf courses in the state is now one of the worst golf courses in the Dallas area and very possibly among the worst in the State of Texas. It is extremely poorly maintained. Many former members have long since found other places to play golf, Buffalo Creek, Waterview, Stone River and many more courses in the area that far exceed the Shores in quality for practically the same cost to play.
