        Field Eye Care is the office of Sunny Field, OD, FAAO and Associates. We are located at the Costco in Rockwall, just to the right of Costco's main entrance. Our brand new office is equipped with all the newest computerized equipment. We offer comprehensive eye exams, medical office visits, contact lens evaluations, and surgical consultations. Walk-Ins are welcome when available.

Whether you're wearing glasses or it's your first time trying contact lenses, our goal is to provide you with personalized service for the perfect fit in a comfortable environment. Our office is equipped with the most advanced computerized technology ensuring that you get an accurate prescription. We also have the latest breathable contact lenses that allow for safe and comfortable wear. Our comprehensive exam testing can diagnose conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye disease. We also treat eye infections, ocular allergies, dry eyes, foreign bodies, and other medical conditions.         We are primarily a private pay practice. By keeping our insurance billing manageable, we are able to reduce costs and provide you with more personalized care and very reasonable fees. We are currently providers for the following vision insurance plans: VSP (Vision Service Plan), MetLife Vision, Superior Vision Insurance and Davis Vision. If you have any other vision or medical insurance, we will be happy to fill out a form which you can send in to receive out of network reimbursement from your insurance. For payment of services we accept cash as well as all Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit and debit cards. We also take FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) cards. Sorry, but we are unable to accept any checks.

        Overall

        Awful! I was scheduled for an appointment, showed up and was told that they scheduled it on the wrong day. Instead of providing good customer service and just seeing me that day, they told me that they were just too busy to see me. Even after explaining that I had paid for babysitter to keep my children so I could come to this appointment, the girl at the front desk was very cold and uncaring! Fortunately I was able to get into different optometrist that same day. Would not recommend this place to anyone based on their mistake and absolute rude behavior. Never again!

        I walked in without an appoint...

        I walked in without an appointment. The young man who greeted me was very courteous and accommodating.



        When I met with Dr. Fields, the courtesy and concern continued. I have never worn contact lenses before and Dr. Fields was very patient in her discussion with me concerning this new option.

        She was also very knowledgeable and articulate and her approach not only highly professional but with the ability to put me completely at ease.



        I left with an updated eye exam and wearing a pair of contacts and free of glasses.

        How cool is that?

        A "Shinning Example" of Doctor/Patient Relations & Professionalism

        Dr. Field exemplifies the meaning of doctor patient relations. Her caring demeanor is evident from your first meeting, through her final diagnosis.



        It is somewhat odd finding someone with these qualities at CostCo, but on the other hand, we travel out of our way to shop at the Rockwall, TX CostCo specifically due to the way they treat the customers.
