Coming home and finding your A/C not cooling is bad for anyone but coming home from the hospital to find out is excruciating! From my first phone contact with Renee she was kind and helpful. She scheduled me an appointment with a technician to be at my home within a couple hours of my call so that my air conditioning issue could be addressed before it got hot. Nathan the technician was at my home on time and solved my issues and got my air working very quickly less then 20 minutes. I received such excellent service I will definitely use them in the future and will tell all my family and friends. Thank you thank you thank you American Air Heating and Cooling!!!!!

They put a new gas pack system and duct work in for me in November. A little piece of metal froze up and cut off my heat.they were out first thing and replaced it. Great guys with integrity and know how! Fully satisfied and I highly recommend!

Be careful before you sign any agreement with this company!



I signed a long-term agreement with this company for routine service and they failed to mention that they will not cover any product warranties except Maytag. We do not have a Maytag HVAC system and now they tell me they will not honor any other HVAC manufacturer's warranty. So, basically I will need to hire another HVAC contractor to come out and repair our units if a part under warranty needs to be replaced (or pay them for a part that would be covered under warranty). I sure wish they would have explained this up-front (especially since manufacturer's warranties typically cover parts for 10-12 years)!



The more frustrating part is when I called and tried to explain that this probably should have been mentioned up-front, the owner's wife (who is in charge of their service agreements) said "well, you signed the agreement and we can not cancel or refund any agreement". She did not seem too concerned about the extra money it will cost me...or understand that this is not really good business.



I like all the technicians that we have dealt with at this company, but be very careful before you sign anything with this company. And, don't expect any kind of customer service if you have an issue!

Agreed, they don't deserve one star! I called on Friday to make an appointment, I know for a fact the appointment was scheduled for Monday morning. I take time off of work on Monday to meet them, 45 minutes later no one is there. So I call, "Oh we have you scheduled for Tuesday" no apologizes for the inconvenience or anything. So I say okay if there's an issue with the Tuesday appointment I"ll have to call you back. So I take Tuesday morning off work too, and 15 minutes after the appointment time still no one is there so I call. "Oh well since you said you would call and didn't we canceled your appointment" How disrespectful of my time! I am furious with the incompetence of the people answering the phones and scheduling service. The least they could have done was to pick up the phone and tell me they were canceling my appointment. If you want to feel like your time is not important then by all means use this company, but I have better things to do.

Best heating and air company by far. Nice and friendly technician. A must when you need any heating or air work done.

They do not deserve a star! This company is the worst Heating and Air company in Rock Hill. If you can't get anybody to come out, build a fire until someone can, but do not call them. Techs are clueless about units.

I was very happy with the Saturday call out charge. Did not seem to be any higher than weekday charge. Tech showed when they said he would and he was very thorough. I have a rental house and I will be calling again!

My A/C stopped working on one of those 100 degree days. They were very prompt & courteous, repaired my system fast at an affordable price. I'll will surely use them again.

American Air repaired my a/c unit. They were very prompt & courteous, answered all my questions, wore shoe covers in my home. I will recommend them to all my friends & neighbors.
