I had a cuckoo clock that stopped working. The clock now runs but now the cuckoo is broken - it chirps like its on steroids. The man can repair a clock, he just does not know anything about cuckoos. I wish I had saved my money and taken my clock elsewhere.

He had my clock for 23 months. Told me it would be given a thorough cleaning and restoration. I was patient, only calling three times. The last call, I said I was coming to pick it up regardless. Paid the balance on faith. I wanted out the door with my serviced clock. When I got it home, what was wrong had not been fixed. I figured out and fixed the sticking myself. I am not confident that anything worth over $600. had been done. He may be knowledgeable, but certainly not diligent in a professional way.

Service

Dropped off a pocket watch and a tambour clock for repair on 8 November 2013 and as of 1 April 2016 I have heard nothing but excuses from this man. I would not advise giving him any business as he's less than honest and straightforward about when he'll complete the job. I've contacted him numerous times to inquire and every time he has an excuse such as a heart attack last summer, too many phone calls and messages and on and on. He claims he's working on them but I find that difficult to believe. My advice is to find someone else.

Avoid this place. similar experience to Karen and John. It cost me $30 just to get my clock back after 17 months, the last 5 of which were filled with excuses, unreturned calls and broken promises.

When we walked into the store,...

When we walked into the store, a customer was just picking up a clock that Peter had repaired & said to us, "He's a genius." After Peter repaired our ancient, wonderful, but long-silent clock that other clock repair shops had failed to fix, he demonstrated the previous customer's appraisal. Peter took apart, repaired and cleaned the entire clock, so that it not only works, but the chimes have never sounded sweeter! If you have a clock needing repair, Peter definitely is the person who'll bring it back to life.

We took our treasured family heirloom antique clock here for repair. The clock looks and runs great now! What a pleasure to find someone who takes pride in their work. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!
