Schaeffer Academy is an independent Christian school that conducts several academic sessions for students. It enrolls children in kindergarten through grade 12. The school is located in Rochester, Minn., and has been offering services since 1993. It provides learning sessions in visual, musical and language arts. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as life sciences, biology, chemistry, apologetics, senior theology, ancient history and physics. Schaeffer Academy also offers classes in Spanish and Latin languages and focuses on the grammatical skills of children. It also mainatins drama, band and choir groups. The school offers several sports activities, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf, and track and field. Schaeffer Academy employs a staff of more than 60 teachers and paraprofessionals, including a physical education instructor and athletic director, as well as maintenance personnel and sports coaches.
