Rives Quality Meats

I have gone there for years and I'm always pleased with the service. Making sausage and jerky takes up much of the meat. I tell them how I want it cut and always get it back as requested. I have gone to the beef barn, Jerome but Rives will be where I'm headed today with my deer.

Hello I been going there for many year for my meat bundles.. they have been good to me and my family

Will not return. Nine point buck with one shot to the shoulder I receive 3 pounds of burger three packages of steaks two small roast,two of the large sausage tubes Five bags of Hunter sausage four bags of small beef jerky that was it, and no tenderloins or backstrap's they told me they used it in my sausage.that cost me 225 dollars. I'm pretty sure I got ripped off...bad!

I gave them two stars because the way they wrap meats for the freezer is the way I like, but honestly, the quality of their work is very poor. We took a side of beef to them for cutting and wrapping. There were dangerous shards of bone left in the roasts. I'm lucky my husband didn't choke to death on a couple of them. The 3 pound roasts were more fat, gristle and tarrow than red meat. Since they charge by the pound to cut and wrap, they were making out like bandits in that respect. Steaks are fatty. Ground beef has bits of gristle in it. Never received any suet (probably because they left it all in my packaged meat) I will never go there again for custom work. I may buy from their meat case where I can see what I'm getting, but that's about it.
