Copper Canyon Academy, located in Rimrock, Ariz., is a privately owned residential boarding school for girls with behavioral, emotional and learning problems. The School serves several junior high and high school students and focuses on developing awareness in various areas, such as emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual. It also focuses on developing leadership skills, and offers various programs, including leading a community service project, developing budgeting skills, planning, preparing and serving meals, planting a garden, preparing resume, and arts and crafts programs. Copper Canyon Academy offers a comprehensive therapeutic program, which provides individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, parent seminars and family workshops.
