Peaco Towing

This company deserves negative stars. They illegally towed my car from my townhouse parking lot. When I went to retrieve it, I was told it would be $460.00!! That included a $135 "processing fee". I asked what that was for and also asked to see the sign stating their fees, which is required under Virginia law to be posted prominently. The owner, Debbie, went ballistic! She yelled and literally pushed me out of the office, told me I wasn't getting my car, and locked the office door. I had to call the police to force her to give me my car!!

I'm filing a complaint against this company with the Virginia Attorney General, the state tow operator licensing board, and any other agency I can find to let others know about these shady crooks. And I'm also filing a lawsuit in civil court to get my money back.

I just left Peaco Towing and am really upset. My partners car was towed last night from behind our apartment. So this morning she calls the office several times and no one answers. Finially the male owner answers the phone and tells my partner that she will be able to pick up her car until 3pm today. She was able to leave work on her lunch break to pick up her car and I went with her. On the way there we call to find out what we need to do to get the car and a VERY rude lady tells us that she wants to close for the day and to hurry up getting there. This was at 1:00. So we get there at 1:25 and I am waiting outside for her to pay when a couple of people pull up and ask me where the office is. I tell them where it is and that it is a good thing they got here when they did b/c it's about to close for the day and they charge by how long your car is in the lot. All of the sudden the male owner of Peaco Towing thinks I am bashing his company and starts cussing me out and telling me to grow a set of balls and actually gets in my face in front of a police officer! I am a woman in my late 20's. They had the right to tow us but not the right to treat us with such disrespect and also tell us he wasn't going to give us our car back after we paid. These people are complete trailer trash!!!!

Absolutely the worst towing company I have dealt with.
