The company manufactures and distributes diesel cetane improver and gasoline performance additives throughout North America. It also provides terminal storage and distribution services from its Houston, and Dordrecht, Holland facilities. The company is a subsidiary of NewMarket Corporation that develops, manufactures, blends, and delivers chemical additives which enhances the performance of petroleum products. Ethyl also has marketing agreements with Associated Octel Company in the tetraethyl lead business. Ethyl Corporation is headquartered in Richmond, Va., and maintains operations in Sarnia and Ontario, Canada, Brussels, Belgium, and Dordrecht, Holland.
