India K' Raja Restaurant

The whole joint stunk like feces. Had to wait half an hour to be served. Would not eat here again.

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.

I went there last night and was lucky to catch their Monday night dinner buffet. It was fantastic. The buffet was actually full of gourmet choices. My waitress told me that they get packed on Mondays because of the buffet. I couldn't disagree with her because it was such a great value to enjoy entire range of Indian cuisine (from soup, condiments and appetizers to breads, entre'es and desserts) at one price. I enjoyed it completely with a large Indian beer, Flying Horse. The restaurant ambiance is very soothing and relaxed. No stuffiness of an upscale restaurant with fine dining experience. I loved at India K' Raja and you would too.

I always enjoy my meal here. I have been going to this restuarant ever since it opened. They have been consistently best in taste, quality, ambance and service. I have dined at all other Indian restaurants in town as well. The seem to try to emulate what India K' Raja offers but they fall way short of that. I love this place. No wonder, its been voted the Richmond's Best Indian restaurant several times.
