Animal Inn

I've been boarding my dogs at Animal Inn for several yeas and have never had any issues of concerns. The kennel is very clean and the staff is great!

I boarded my dog recently and was quoted a price. They asked for an additional fee for pampering which was almost double the price. I opted out since I figured it was not a necessity and the boarding was for a few days. I received a call two days later letting me know that my dog had to go to the vet because she had a urinary tract infection. My dog is nine and she had never had such a problem. I had boarded her with another business and had never had this issue. When I picked her up they informed me that was common because unless you pay the pampering they don't take your dog to do their business on the grass. They have to go on cement. This was never told to me. My dog is used to only going to do that on the grass so she unded up with an infection because she was holding it. This is totally unacceptable and will never do business with them. I got stuck with the boarding fees, an $80.00 vet fee and a sick dog.

I love the hospitality and the dedication you show to all of my dogs! This is the safest place and i can tell you all love your job.

The staff here at Animal Inn are incredible! Everyone is very friendly, it makes me feel very comfortable when leaving our dogs with you all. I know they are well taken care of in your hands!

I had a family emergency and I wasn't able to take my 13 month old terrier on the plane with me, so I did some research and found Animal Inn. I dropped my dog off, and 5 days later picked him up.He was happy and exited, and looked really good. I totally trust this place and thank you so much for the last minute help.

I wouldn't leave my pets here. My dog was groomed here for the first time. I gave specific instructions of what I wanted and they did exactly the opposite. When I asked for an explanation, they couldn't tell me what had happened. The manager and groomer were not available for me to talk to. When I finally got a hold of them 2 days after, they acted like it was no big deal. The front desk guy blamed the groomer and said that the hair would grow back, the grommer blamed the front desk guy and the manager didn't even care about the situation. Really poor customer service.

I wouldn't board my pets here. I took my dog to get groomed and the person in the front desk took the instructions. When I went to pick up my dog, they had done exactly what I had asked for them not to do. I asked to talk to the manager and the grommer, but they weren't available. The next day I contacted the manager and the groomer and they both acted like it was no big deal. If they have that type of service for grooming, I can't imagine that they would be any better with boarding. As for me, my dog will never go to this place again.

Positives:



My dog had been bathed the day I picked her up.



Negatives:



I specifically gave them feeding instructions and they did not follow. When I dropped my dog off, I provided food for the entire stay, plus a little extra. When I picked her up, the receipt said they ran out of food on 3-20-08, I was scheduled to pick her up the morning of 3-22-08. That means they feed her way to much. This may not mean much to most people, but If you overfeed a puppy, especially Labs, then they can have hip problems.



The lady at the front desk, blond, had a very bad attitude, not friendly and caring. Same lady that checked me out when I picked her up. She really didn't seem to care that they had messed up. First time and last time I use this facility.



Bottom line is you get what you pay for. Their prices are low, and for good reason.



Also, when I dropped my dog off, they wouldn't allow me to see where my dog was staying. No tour. Not good.



Do they have something to hide?



Also, she stated that if we didn't pay for extra pampering, then the dog stayed in the 20ft dog run the entire stay. Not clear on this one, but I will search for a place next time that allows the dog to get out more. I did pay for the extra pampering, and who knows if I received it or not. I asked for eleven pampering sessions, and they only charged me for

six. She said that on rainy days, ect., when they can't take them outside, they don't charge. Not sure on that one either.
