Overall
A couple years ago the temples...

A couple years ago the temples of my expensive glasses were loose, so had them tighten them. They were still loose but they said that was as tight enough.. I left and the lens fell out and chipped. Optix would not replace the lens and said I would have to pay for a new one myself. But they would not give me a new one unless I got another eye exam. So I lived with a chipped lens for a couple years. Strike 1

Then the temple broke and they ordered me another one which did not match. They said they would call me when they got one in that did match but I never heard from them until... Strike 2

A year later went in because another temple broke. They ordered them and, yay!, they matched. After he put the temples on, I mentioned that one side felt loose, so he tightened it, he said, but it still felt loose. He insisted it was tight enough. The temple broke off in the next couple days. Strike 3 (They did order me another set, which did not match exactly. But I went ahead and used those.)

Then I had an eye exam and ordered the new lenses. I put the glasses on and everything looked distorted. The right side of everything I looked at was pulled towards me - yeah! I told them that. They said to wear them for 3 days and I would adjust to them. I had a hard time finding exactly where the door was and stumbled a little going down the stairs. I went back and told them that and they insisted I wear them for a few days.

Well, after noticing that the right side of the car was closer to me and the left side was further away, I knew something was wrong. I went back in a couple days and said there is definitely something wrong. As it turned out, they transposed some numbers. i was right to begin with, but they discredited my own common sense. So I had to wait for another few days without glasses for the lenses to be replaced. Strike 4

I was going to buy another pair when they had their sale, but I did not receive their sale card. So I thought I would stop by and it turned out that it was the last few days of the sale during the crazy holiday rush between Christmas and New Year. They said they had a mailing glitch which is why I had not received the sale notice.

I was trying to choose between two different styles and on the last day of their sale, I finally had decided. Guess what? They didn't have the style in stock and would not even consider ordering a pair for me. I had no idea they only had one pair, as no one told me they were selling only what was on the floor. And I was treated as though I was the cause of all of their misinformation, mistakes, mishandling. Strike 5?? Oh, come on....

I have NEVER gone through this much trouble with any optometrist and I have worn glasses for over 50 years. Even so, I was patient. But the last situation was the last straw. So, I ask you, what number of stars would you give for the kind of 'service' I was given? I wanted to give them no stars but could not post this unless I gave them at least one.
