The Learning Ladder Child Care Center

As an aunt, I entrust my greatest blessing to the staff at the Learning ladder every day, and I am grateful for the loving care and guidance she receives. The teachers and director look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My niece has been blessed with awesome teachers who understand her challenges and handle her with grace. My niece has learned so much and continues to share with me the great activities that go on each day at "school!" Thank you to the Learning Ladder care center for an incredible early childhood curriculum filled with activities that engages and teaches at all steps of the day, and a special thanks to Michelle and her staff; they continue to do amazing works of "heart" with all children.

I enrolled my daughter in the Learning Ladder child care center when she was 3 years old. I interviewed approximately 8 child care programs in my area. The process of elimination began with the first phone call. Not only was the first phone call to Learning Ladder pleasant and inviting, but once I entered the building I noticed all the teachers greeted each child by name, with attention given to each child. The Director answered all of my many questions and once we did drop her off the first day, she was there, with tissues in hand, assuring us that our child would be OK and that we could call her anytime to see how she was doing. And, she meant it. Anytime I called, she would check in on her and let me know how she was doing, and what she was doing – that extra bit of information gave it that special touch. She took that extra step and continues to do so.

The Learning Ladder Child Care Center is great for all parents who need a trustworthy environment for their kids. As a parent I am thrilled with how my daughter is learning and developing from attending. She comes home singing full nursery rhymes, all of the alphabet, knows her colors and knows most of her numbers from 1-20. The other day she even came home speaking Spanish. Ms. Michelle has a very well-run facility that I feel meets all the needs of children. I will recommend her to anyone that is looking for exceptional service and care of their young one.

Where to begin? My mother in law would take my daughter for morning walks since she was born and would walk right by the center. She would come home and tell me about the lovely owner who always spoke such kind words to her and would tell her jokingly that she’s waiting on her granddaughter whenever she was ready :). We decided to bring our daughter in about 2 years ago for some socialization, fun and learning. But what we got was so much more! We want to thank you for always welcoming us unto your daycare family, for always thinking of the parents during the day to send us little texts about how my daughter was doing, or even to let me know if she had a bad day. For taking the time to know my daughter and know what brings a smile to her sweet face, for always caring about our family in a most nurturing, yet unexpected way. The learning ladder has helped mold and shape my daughter into the person she is going to be and that to me is so important. If I decide to have another baby, there is no hesitation where he/she will be attending, for there is no other like the learning ladder 😊

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Learning Ladder. We are happy every day that we found your learning center. You take such amazing care of our daughter. You have showered her with hugs and cuddles since the day she has arrived. Your attention to detail, creativity, outings and the part I especially love is treating my child as if she was one of your very own grandchild. Such a nurturing environment and fun play environment are beyond what we could have hoped for. Your loving and caring center is the reason I feel comfortable being at work. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t sit at my desk and think that the ONLY reason I could be here at work and not jobless at home is because I trust my daughter is in safe hands and in a wonderful environment that she looks forward to attending on a daily basis. The owner works with you if there is a crisis as I have had a few. I thank her immensely for working with me through my situation in order to keep my daughter in school. In my eyes, the staff are masters at what they do. The combination of professional and parenting experience placed in your unique learning setting are a magical mix. I am so happy to have my daughter in your program and she’ll continue to be there until it’s time for elementary school.

The Learning Ladder is a great facility/daycare to place your child in. From the moment that you walk in the door the smell of cleanliness just get's you and when it comes to choosing a daycare for me personally the initial smell is what grabs me just because you are a daycare doesn't mean you need to smell like one.
Then it was meeting the owner. The welcome from her was very warm and welcoming, from the moment you walk through the doors everyone is speaking saying good morning/afternoon. The walk-through of the facility was amazing one there is an area for each age group with there own play areas. The infants are in there own room. The three year old's are not to cross over into the 2 year old's area anyone who isn't dedicated to that group also isn't allowed due to making sure everything being sanitized due to not spreading germs across. The daycare also prides it self on assisting your little one with potty training that they have installed tiny toilets for your little ones. Then there is the Large play area in the back for before and after care children where they can be dropped off by van service and picked up before and after school and get assists with homework( Love It) Affordable too. The children are also apart of a nutritious food program which I love. Then last the tuition is so affordable that you really can't complain I am a single mother of 4 and if I can make the payments then it is a great price but what I love is that they are willing to work with you if you are unable to make payment. The children are in uniform they are in a classroom setting getting them prepared for school early, but what you know what puts the icing on the cake is that your child is being taught by a teacher an actual teacher so not your average daycare focused on learning and not just play all day.

My son has been with the Learning Ladder since he was 2 and a half. Now he’s 4 and ahead of the game. The center’s schedule time is great. It gives me the flexibility with my work plus the teachers are compassionate about the care they provide to each individual child. I thoroughly appreciate that the teachers are actually teaching and not just "watching" him. I can’t say enough about the owner Ms. Michelle as she also provides several activities for each holiday and event, which I think is awesome. This year I had the pleasure of partaking in a father’s event called “Donuts with Dad”. To see the joy on my son’s face when he sat me down at the table and served me breakfast was a sight to behold. I thoroughly enjoyed the involvement and spending that time with my son. That day I was late for work, but it was well worth it. Knowing that my son is being cared for by people that truly care about him and want to see him succeed in life makes things much easier.

The Learning Ladder is more than just a daycare. The staff always provides lots of attention and showers my son with tons of hugs since he started. His day is filled with tons of educational activities, games, and events. The center always provides needed updates and photos throughout the day. His excitement when we arrive at “school” ensures me that this center is the perfect place for him.

As full-time working parents, leaving our toddler in someone else's care every morning is one of the hardest things we must do. My heart broke for about 2 days, but knowing we will miss so many precious moments with our daughter, while someone else will be there to witness so many of her "firsts". It's a feeling I'm sure I share with so many other moms, but special thanks to the teachers and staff at The Learning Ladder Child Care, we felt so much better about leaving our daughter every day because we know she is in the best of hands of caring professionals who cherish her (almost as much as we do) and seem to understand how much we must miss her every day. We can’t speak enough about the Director/Owner Ms. Michelle who constantly keeps us up-to-date on the highlights of our daughter’s days, sharing her funny moments, swim events with her friends, arts and crafts and any of her latest achievements. And the BEST part is that we don't always have to wait until the end of the day. Ms. Michelle makes it a point to send us texts and photos when they know it's a moment we wouldn't want to miss. Ms. Michelle’s text messages which would always brighten my day, make me laugh, and help me to feel that even though we're apart, we’re still with our daughter somehow. We’re so grateful to the staff at the Learning Ladder for helping us give our daughter such a great start in life, and for including us in the moments we would otherwise miss out on.
